Session 4: Pedagogically-driven Uses of Technology, May 11-16

Welcome to our fourth session.

Our learning group continues looking forward to sharing their experiences with using design principles and teacher 'moves' that contribute to growing classroom community and creating thinking classrooms.

This website will be maintained as a place to document our group's learning, share resources, and to further facilitate conversation that goes beyond our face-to-face time.

Where possible, some of our learning will be 'flipped' through the provision of documents (and/or videos) posted ahead of time.  Feel free to use these objects such that you can familiarize yourself with some of the principles, make some connections to practice, and/or list some of your wonderings prior to each of the sessions.

Sincerely Yours,

Chris Stewart

B) Taking it to an On-line Space
Following the session and leading up to the last one, let's encourage one another's reflection and involvement in an on-line discussion forum (below).  We can continue learning together by posting our comments, questions, links to resources, feedback to others and ideas--especially when it comes to sharing some of the things we'd like to try with our students.

C) Session Summary

NOTE: Post-session 4, discussion notes will either be captured in this section and/or posted in the discussion forum (above).

About

I am passionate about leadership for learning and teaching and learning through inquiry. Through collaborative exploration of high-yield, pedagogical strategies, I have been able to further engage students to deepen their learning and fellow educators in continuously growing their practice--Flipped Learning, Thinking Classrooms, and culturing Student Voice as examples. I hope that the sites I have created serve you well in your educational journey through leadership for learning, teaching and learning by moving professional learning into your time ... your space. If you have questions or feedback, please feel free to contact me. Sincerely Yours, Chris Stewart |OCT | Founder & Education Leader, Flipping the Focus.
