A) Introduction
In this 4-part series, participate in a group study of Ilana Seidel Horn's book, Motivated: Designing Math Classrooms Where Students Want to Join In (2017). As a book study, our group will discuss the motivational features--belongingness, meaningfulness, competence, accountability and autonomy--presented and consider how they relate to transforming classroom practices and school culture in the teaching and learning of Mathematics. JUST FOR YOU! Upon completion of the 4-week series, each registrant will receive a digital copy of a sample study guide** that they can use for further study and/or in facilitating professional learning alongside other educators. This invaluable resource will include each of the following supplements: Components for Each Chapter Study:
